To remotely experience
our live demonstration, your computer must meet the following
requirements:
Operating System: Windows NT(SP5)/2000/XP
Note : Windows 98 and earlier are not supported. Windows XP
is the preferred platform.
Browser: Internet Explorer ver 5.0 or later.
Monitor: Resolution should be set to 1024
x 768.
Adware/Spyware: If you are running any Adware(such
as SpyBot or Adaware), disable them or manually allow Active
X Controls to be downloaded and invoked.
Security: Browser Security must be set to
"Medium" or alternately make sure the browser is not set to
disable ActiveX functionality.
IMPORTANT!
Password: You will need
a password. The password can be obtained by contacting us
NOW at sales@modsci.com.
Please put the words VSB password in the subject header.
RunTime Engine and Browser Plug In
: You can download the browser plug-in by clicking
the link at the bottom of this page or you can obtain a disk
from us which will install the plug in for you.
The files are large and the download
may take up to 15 minutes depending on your connection speed
and internet traffic so please be patient while the plug-in
is downloading.
When a dialog box pops up prompting you to install the run-time
engine, choose Yes and follow the
prompts. Once the engine is installed you will have access
to the live demonstration.
Why do I need the Run Time Engine?:
The 8vsb Analyzer uses many graphic elements as
well graphs and charts. The basic components are installed
on your computer via the Run time Engine installation. This
reduces the bandwidth requirement because it enables us to
pipe raw data between the computers and recreate full graphical
applications on your local PC.
If you have difficulity with the download, obtaining a disk
is the recommended method as firewalls may prevent certain
