DIGITAL PROceiver® Makes It's Debut In Election Coverage.
Modulation Sciences’ DIGITAL PROceiver® is successfully on the air at KWQC in Davenport, Iowa, and has been since October 16th, announces Eric Small, CTO and Founder of MSI.
“Installation went smoothly”, according to Doug Bierman, Chief Engineer at KWQC, “it is quite simple to set-up and install, we were installed and live in two trucks in just a day.” Bierman continues, “The talent has been pleased with it. We used our DIGITAL PROceiver’s on Election Day and they performed perfectly.” Having been a PRO Channel user, Doug concludes by saying that it is much cleaner than the analog PRO’s, “it is so quiet that you have to check to make sure it is on.”
As the pioneer and principal supplier of analog PRO Channel based IFB systems for ENG operations, Modulation Sciences continues to answer the call of the broadcast industry as it goes from analog to digital signal. “We have been around for more then 25 years and continue to deliver tested products that are reliable and cost effective”, says Small.
The industry must agree since ModSci has already delivered close to 100 DIGITAL PRO’s. Holding the list price at $3,950 (the same as the analog PRO-3) there will be ample product to meet customer needs, even as we get closer to February 17, 2009 – analog shutdown.
